4. The Yankees are playing against a junior high math team?!
I am pulling for the Angles to win the ALCS.

And why on Earth are you rooting for a fundie-dominated expansion team that has to keep its baseballs in freakin' humidors so they don't fly into Wyoming??!! :wtf:

With two outs, it seemed another comeback may be imminent.

Then it all fell apart for you, didn't it?

12. Hold on to that during the off-season
Though I wouldn't think a Red Sox fan would be particularly interested in reliving the past this way.

Epic collapses, one of many:

Yeah, I'd call that a no-brainer. The Yankees may play well and have a great team, but they still suck on several dimensions.

You were counting on the Pirates, Padres, and Marlins to pull it out?

Of teams currently still in it, all but the Rockies have a payroll exceeding $100,000,000.

Of teams with payrolls larger than $100,000,000, the following are home golfing: NY Mets (awful), Chicago Cubs (dismal), Houston Astros (pointless), Detroit Tigers (tragic), Boston Red Sox (farcical).

15. it's the Twins...that's what he's supposed to do against them...
nevermind the fact that the Twins didn't belong in the playoffs to begin with....I honestly hope the owners take serious consideration of league schedule/playoff format realignment (but we know its not going to happen)
