Pink Lady, Donna Mae Mims dies seated in her pink Corvette for visitation
Donna Mae Mims, the first woman to win a Sports Car Club of America national championship in 1963, has died. She was 82.

Mims' body was seated behind the steering wheel of a 1979 pink Corvette for visitation hours at the funeral home

Question for all of you ostentatious nonconforming DUers:
In what lifestyle appropriate way will the rest of us view you at the funeral home?

1. They're not.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
There will be a gathering of friends later, my ashes may or may not be there. And I have plans for my ashes, they're to be scattered over a marijuana field somewhere.

3. I've told my kids that a coffee can would be a fitting container for my ashes, but I think
they'll consider something else more suitable. Whatever makes them feel better. They've already decided on a spot to scatter me.

will Lynne Synne be sitting inside a toll booth?
will GrayWarrior be duct taped to the wall?

enquiring minds want to know

5. Wait a moment - why was she set up for visitation if she wasn't dead yet?
And how ironic that she did die once she was placed there for visitation.

6. I was wondering that myself, but that's what it said.
And if its in the papers ...

Maybe she was just trying it out ... you know, like those people that sleep in their coffin ...

8. I want no memorial service and no funeral.
Cremate me and do with my ashes whatever you want except put them out to sea. I don't like the ocean. :scared:

9. I've always said I want my ashes mixed with clay
and made into really tacky lawn ornaments for all my family and friends. I want to be the gift that keeps on giving...and creeping you out.
