There is a dead animal ( I think) under the house, the smell is pretty strong downstairs.

There is a dead animal ( I think) under the house, the smell is pretty strong downstairs.
Do I let it stay there until the smell goes away or tomorrow drag it out.

I am the more let it stay type, the smell will go away.

Most likey one of the feral kitties we feed.

1. could it be a snake? dead snakes smell something awful.
had the unhappy experience of finding a purloined reptile expired in my closet. about a 3' ball python. besides the shock, the smell nearly killed me.

aren't you concerned that if you don't cut off access to that area that this might be a problem that could happen again?
