Goodbye, Missy. 16 year old Pomeranian. She loved chicken, walks and cuddling.

Goodbye, Missy. 16 year old Pomeranian. She loved chicken, walks and cuddling.
Rescued puppy mill dog. Had to put her to sleep today; those of you who have been through it know when it's time. She was rescued, loved, and kind of obnoxious, but a cutie who we will miss in days to come. I spent a lot of time with her. She loved chicken best, and curling up on the back of the couch. She had a lot of years. It hurt to have to do it, but she was time. I miss her already, but I have great pictures.

11. 16 years is a blessing
The best anyone can hope for it to live a happy, full life and die peacefully.

My dog Jiffy recently died after 17 years and she was quite obnoxious sometimes too, but that was just part of her character that we learned to live with and eventually appreciate. It is hard to let go.

20. All the best to you. The end is the price we pay for the years leading up to it.
And it's all worth it, ultimately.

We also had to put two of our cats to sleep this year, within four days of each other. Three is enough for one year. We are down to two dogs and a cat, but they seem fine, if aging.

I am sorry for your pending loss, but happy that you have had good years with your friend.

I actually miss her more than expected. Thanks to all for their condolences. I appreciated each and every one of them. Here's a pic with Sweet Pea from 2003. Sweet Pea is still with us, hale and hearty, and lives to get as close to the heat vent as possible.

to make the decision to let them go. We still miss our Lucky,the vet was kind and told us we loved her too much to let her live in so much pain. We have yet to even think about another dog, its been three years, do not want to go thru it again
