Oh no! Poor, poor kitty!!!!!!

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - A Serval found in a Tucson neighborhood is headed to an animal sanctuary out of state.

The Tucson Wildlife Center rescued it three weeks ago after someone saw it in the Catalina Foothills.

The animal was dehydrated and missing a rear leg.

The Wildlife Center has found a new home for the big cat after its owner failed to claim it.

Missing it's leg?? poor poor kitty. Who would allow this to happen?! That's so awful. Granted, people allow this to happen to normal domestic cats all the time, which is just as awful. But I guess this stands out because it's a large exotic cat that requires a license. Why would you go to the trouble of paying for and getting this exotic animal and then just abandon it?! Poor poor kitty. Sooooo cute, too. :(
