Why would you swim with sharks???
I mean, unless you had to???

What possible gain can you get from swimming with an animal who could instinctively kill you?

BTW... I wouldn't go mud-wrestling with grizzly bears either

14. What's the difference between a lawyer and a catfish?
One's a scum-sucking bottom feeder. The other's just a fish.

4. I only get extreme sports to the point that it would be fun to do whatever the sport is
Like say, riding a BMX bike into a loop...

But yeah, why risk your life just for the sake of risking your life?

9. Alley and I do.. (with picture)
Then again they are leopard sharks, shy little (3-4ft) mollusk munchers who like to hang out off La Jolla beach in the summer.

12. I'd rather swim with sharks than dolphins.
Though I doubt I'd pay to do either one in some schmaltzy, tourist venue. Especially not in a tank.

Sharks make no excuses for what they are.

You think dolphins aren't flesh eaters and calculated killers?

Really?

13. Swimming with dolphins can be dangerous--they don't kill humans often, but...
Dolphins can hurt humans by being overly-affectionate or playful very easily. They can be jerks, besides.

15. Um, I live in Florida.
Swim in salt water, you swim with the sharks. Swim in naturally occurring fresh water (which is to say, not in a swimming pool), chances are you swim with the alligators. You pay your money, and you take your chances.

24. Where is this coming from? Is it another reality TV program or something?
Most sharks aren't aggressive unless they are provoked or see you as an injured food source. There are many little sharks that are harmless. I knew a guy who was such an idiot as to start kicking little nurse sharks in the shallows of the Caribbean--just because they were sharks.
