Any upcoming singers you know about to look out for in 2010?
Here are some that I really like that could take off -

Hana Pestle - http://hanapestle.com/ (debut album just released; should be released at more places next year)

Kina Grannis - http://www.kinagrannis.com/ (album should be out next year)

Lucy Walsh - http://www.lucy-walsh.com/ (new album finally planned for next year)

Susan Cagle - http://www.myspace.com/susancagle (maybe a long awaited follow-up to The Subway Recordings)

Tamar Kaprelian - http://www.tamar-music.com/ (debut album planned for next year)

5. No, I meant I know someone whose daughter knows Hana
they're from Billings, though both are now in SoCal.

And I do hope Hana doesn't get "Dixie Chicked" for hanging out with the likes of us "Evil DUers"...

Silent Violet is relaxing; kind of trippy. And you are right - the lead singer from The Blueflowers has a haunting voice!

If you like Silent Violet, you might like Lights:

And I found this new band on MySpace that seems to have great pop smarts:

11. Thanks. Here's another one for you.
Julianna Barwick. Here's she's singing with an obscure group Pandatone.
