It's official, I've got the Swine Flu.
No joke.
I still feel awful, it's been over a week now since I first noticed feeling lousy.

Today it became official, I've got the H1N1 flu.
I'm just grateful I'm not so sick I end up in the hospital.

I'm trying to see if what I see is (younger) age specific.

Also, do you have a history of other respiratory related problems? Smoker? Asthmatic?

I understand it's likely targeted to younger child-bearing aged women, but that doesn't describe you.

Not pleasant, but as long as you take care of yourself, you will get better. NyQuil is your friend. Drink plenty of liquids, too, especially if you've been prescribed Tamiflu.

High temp for several days, headache, then respiratory junk, then okay. The doc said swine flu because the seasonal flu hadn't started yet. I'd just taken a plane trip to Chicago and back and was in lots of public spaces while there. At least now I'm immune (I hope).
