Help identifying a song/artist please.
Edited on Tue Oct-27-09 11:27 PM by imdjh
I originally thought it was a theme to Survivor. I have it on a play list marked only as "Enya- Dark light and heavy" but it isn't Enya.

The lyrics are gibberish, sung to a sort of Celtic African Gregorian style with a Africanesque female choir backing up a woman who could be Enya but isn't.

The "lyrics" are something like : Vaddy adi adi ad dah vaddi adi oo a yay (adi oo ah ay) Vaddy adda ooda adah adah oo da ayehhhh.

PS, I believe that the artist and/or the producer of the song are Welsh

She has a very interesting style, and many of her songs are in a language she invented.

14. Adiemus from Songs of Sanctuary

some people say the singer is Enya, but some say Miriam Stockley. It is Welsh. I am sure if I researched it, I could find out who the singer really is.

Going to edit again. This is a fabulous song!

This is sung often in choirs, the lyrics are:

Ariadiamus late ariadiamus da
aria natus late adua
Aravare tue vate aravare tue vate aravaratue vate latea
2X

anamana coole rawe anamana coole ra
anamana coole rawe akala
anamana coole rawe akala (ayacoo-ah-eh)
anamana coole rawe akala (ayacoo-ah-eh)
aya doo aye aya doo aye

16. Well, let me know if you find out who the singer is
I haven't been able to find out for sure, but I am leaning towards Enya.

19. I wonder why a singer isn't out and out listed?
but, it probably is Miriam Stockley. She wouldn't publicly take credit for something that wasn't her.
