Goddamnit....my poor dog.
Nasal cancer....literally sneezing blood all over the house.

I give her nasal injections of epinephrine to calm the bleeding for awhile.

I can't think of putting her down because she seems to be in no distress...she's eating heartily and playing.

Very difficult to watch though...

2. Thank you...
I have a horrid fear that there might come a time when she can't breathe. Even it it takes me only 5 minutes to get her to an emergency vet for euthanasia...that's going to be 5 minutes too long that she suffers...I am worried for her.

10. I would ask the vet about that, to allay your fear
Dogs don't usually experience stuffed up nasal passages as we do when we have a cold, but she would breathe through her mouth as she does when panting, if her nostrils were blocked.

11. LFP, my dog has a large throat tumor, is taking several meds for it,
seem like he is uncomfortable, but not in pain or distress at least so far.
We are staying home for thanksgiving because we don't want to leave him alone all day.
You and your friend are in my thoughts.

15. Poor Lilygirl.
You're so good to her. If she's fine now, let her enjoy her time. You'll definitely know if she's in too much distress. It's not easy to decide what to do, and to watch a beloved pet's illness progress.

18. You have my sincere sympathy.
My dog had those too in the final stages of lymphoma. I spent many nights sleeping on the kitchen floor with her after the nosebleeds started. The Vet gave me sedatives to calm her; I would give her one and hold an ice pack on her nose until she was better... in the end, thankfully, she was able to die at home, in total peace and comfort.

It was a devastating thing to go through with her.

I'm so sorry your Lily is sick like this. I wish you strength during this difficult time Lefty.
