5. They'll screw it up like every other remake.
It will have flashy special effects and mediocre acting and pretend it's better than the original.

15. Like the way the SciFi channel fucked up Battlestar Galactica.
Actually, I'm expecting the Prisoner to be little more than a rehash. But not all remakes suck. V2 sucked. The new Star Trek sucked. Steve Martin's Pink Panther probably constitutes an international war crime. But every now and then a remake does the job better.

6. From the commercial, the remake appears to be very different from the original - at least
superficially.

1. He wake up in some kind of tunnel/cave type place
2. The village is composed of beach type dwellings.

I couldn't tell if it was filmed in America

Which is too bad. Those things scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. Very low tech, but effective.
