If you're going to the ER, I know how to skip ahead of all the flu victims!

The trick is to be in anaphylactic shock. Gets you bumped straight to the front of the line. Same thing when you return the next night with repeat symptoms.

What a weekend. And don't worry, I will be staying far away from that allergen for the rest of my life. It wasn't something I've ever reacted to before!

4. brand new allergy

To wintergreen oil used at work for a few days. I then inadvertently re-exposed myself using Listerine citrus mouthwash and relapsed the following day. Who knew that citrus flavored stuff had wintergreen? since the mouthwash has a concentration of 0.06% of the stuff by volume I'm feeling a little paranoid about anything remotely mint-flavored. I'm taking Prednisone for the next week and then with a little luck this will be ok.

I had a nasty allergic reaction to fish oil capsules the other week (a generic brand, blended from who knows what) so I'm wondering if that had left my immune system primed to go berserk.

I have a mint allergy, but it's not that bad, thankfully.

My big nasty allergy is rabbit fur. I've gotten a trip to the ICU that way before. :(
