1. It's like she's saying,
"Why does Spooky always get to be the black cat! It's always the same... Spooky Spooky Spooky!" Like Jan on the Brady Bunch. My black cats have always loved Halloween, even hanging out in the yard among the decorations. I try to keep them in now so people don't steal them, but last night my current black cat just wanted to hang out in the yard and prowl around the neighborhood a little. He had a grand time, it's like he knows it's a special night with all the extra people around.

4. thank you .. being both males, they sometimes wrestle
but they are both a LOT of fun. The tabby is really jittery. We rescued him and think he must have been abused because he hides a lot

Poor Gridley! Reminds me of our dear departed orange tabby, Dilbert, who used to make himself so scarce when there was a lot of noise (thunderstorms, fireworks on the Fourth) that we could never find him--we'd panic that he got out of the house, but when things calmed down he'd turn up out of nowhere and just sit there, usually on the staircase, looking at us like "...what?"

Our two black kittehs were very interested in the open front door last night, but they'd scoot when trick or treaters showed up. Basement kittehs ain't so fierce! :P

It's appropriate that the black cat likes Halloween!

I never was too much of a cat person but I'm becoming more so since I've been around my best friend's cats She has two orange tabbies and a scrawny, grey, former feral kitty. The two orange cats have such great personalities! Here's Larry the magnificent sun bathing. He's a 27 pound cat!

Seanie (orange tabby) kind of looked like a pumpkin, while Kwan Yin was, well, a black cat.
