the fight was only supposed to last about 1/10th as long as it ended up being. they started improvising and only pulled punches that were to the face.

AMC re-runs it approximately every three months, usually at night.

It's one of my favorites. Please let everyone know if you hear that it's coming to DVD or video.

John Carpenter must hate the Bush Administration.

Ever see "Escape From LA"? It centers around a facist fundie president who deports anyone he doesn't see as 'moral'.

Not as good as "Escape From NY", but it's a pretty funny flick nonetheless.
