Is there nothing she can do that will turn me off of her?

The wackier she gets the more I like her.

but then, my Moms was a wack job so Courtney is kinda comforting..

1. Did you see her on Letterman?
Is this why you posted this?

2. I met her
Edited on Fri Mar-19-04 09:48 PM by SCRUBDASHRUB
My husband, brother-in-law and I went to a Hole concert at a nightclub called The Abyss in VA Beach some years back. This was right after Kurt killed himself. After the concert, she decided that she wanted to play some CDs near the DJ booth and I decided to see if I could get her to autograph my T-shirt and concert ticket. She was definitely whacked out on something; she kept saying she wouldn't sign my stuff unless I kissed her. I said "I'm married." She wound up signing my T-shirt as follows:

"Fucking repressed lesbian. Whorteney."

Whatever. Total freakshow. I like the music, but she's definitely in need of some help. I feel bad for her kid.

4. I respect her though
She lives her life the way she wants. She may be a wacko but she's true to herself. Cool story. I hope you framed the shirt and put it on your wall!

12. I just hope she doesn't wind up another rock star casualty
I have the shirt in a shadow box so it's protected. She signed my ticket, too; it's framed as well.

She's obviously talented. I just hope she doesn't wind up another rock star casualty.

3. I love her too!
They don't make rock stars like her anymore. We need more inappropriate psycho weirdos. Hell, I even like her music. Seriously, after three albums of great songs, they can't keep saying it was all Kurt anymore.

She said it best, she's not a woman, she's a force of nature!

14. You're right...
it wasn't all Kurt. He was only responsible for "Live Through This"
Billy Corgan for "Celebrity Skin"
Linda Perry for "America's Sweetheart"
these are the facts
She may be a great sideshow geek, but someone else ALWAYS has to raise
the chickens.

5. Hopefully someone
will take her 11 year old daughter and raise her without all the BS. Courtney can do what she wants but her daughter shouldn't have to live through it. Courtney has serious problems. My guess is she won't be around much longer.

8. She used to come into the same salon as me in Seattle
Years ago, of course. She was a complete bitch to everyone who worked there, would often not only tip them, but would claim some sort of flakiness and not even pay her bill in the end. Then she would spit all over the floor and start screaming and swearing, until finally she had to be asked to leave. I was not impressed.

9. Typical Courtney behavior
or at least what I think she would act like. Did see ever talk to you personally? or does this "She was a complete bitch to everyone who worked there" say it all?

10. she looks like she's dying. she looks like she's on her last legs. Sigh.
this is sad for her girl. both parents going down the
hole. I feel for her but I wish she would get help. There's
nothing pretty about a junkie going down the drain. :(

11. It says it all
My heart really goes out to Frances Bean here. She was far from blessed with parents. She'll have to make it on her own, sadly.

13. Sounds like a total brat.
Edited on Fri Mar-19-04 11:42 PM by SCRUBDASHRUB
To be eccentric is one thing, and I'm all for being an innovative, creative force; however, people work hard to earn their pay in order to put food on the table, etc. Plus, hello, Courteney obviously has the cash to pay them.

Geez! I guess she'd rather pay her dealer. That's pretty bogus if you ask me. Like you, I'm not impressed either.

15. Very sad. It looked like she was going to pull it around with "The
People Versus Larry Flynnt". But it wasn't to be. My concern wouldn't be with her...it would be with her daughter, who has to be embarassed by this on a daily basis. Middle school girls can be complete hormonal bitches to acquaintances with problems. :(

16. Courtney
Her behavior has always been deplorable and seemingly borderline psychotic. I really believe that there's circumstantial evidence that she may have had a direct or indirect hand in Kurt Cobain's death.
