I don't ask think much but please DU're some good vibes.
My thoughts are scrambled but I just wrote this over in the Market Place, (yea I know why there?) Here is the situation that I kind of covered about a week ago.

My uncle lost a lot of weight. He was diagnosed with bipolar like me. But then he started having trouble breathing and was taken to the ICU. After they moved him he was his old defiant self and wanted to get the hell out of the hospital. They diagnosed him of Lou Gehrig's disease because of the breathing and the weight loss and they told his wife he had 3 weeks to live.

When he went into the hospital with breathing problems his oxygen levels were 97-98%! I know that a feeling like "Air hunger" can be a symptom on anxiety because I've had it and it is horrible. It feels like you can't breath but you are breathing.

His wife, his family doctor and me don't believe th diagnosis, (well I am hoping beyond belief it is wrong). He was diagnosed bipolar just recently and the doctor told him that was the cause of all his problems. I know that I lost a lot of weight from anxiety once.

Anyway his name is Robbie. He is my very favorite uncle, my only uncle now actually. He doesn't live by me but I really do love him. His wife is a mess.

Please send good vibes to him. And maybe some to the people who are trying to treat him so they get there act together and get a real diagnosis. I read that there is no definitive diagnose for Lou Gehrig's disease.

And for me, I want the knot in my stomach and the headache to go away. I think it would be easier if it were just all true and at least I could accept it.

I know I need to meditate.

Thanks. I'm going to go to my room and put on some relaxing music now.

Maraya

5. I have Lou Gehrig's disease...
It's been about 3 1/2 years since onset. A definitive diagnosis of ALS is difficult, but can be reached and is done by a process of elimination. There are a series of tests that are done, such as EMG, NCV, MRI, reflex tests, blood, urine and Lyme disease.

I cannot overstate how irresponsible it is to give a diagnosis of ALS without having conducted, at a minimum, these tests first. Even a marginally competent neurologist would not mention the word ALS until all tests are in because of the trauma in giving a diagnosis to a terminal, invariably fatal illness.

http://www.als-ny.org/ has information that might be helpful.

My best wishes to your uncle, and to your family.

6. I'm sorry that has happened to you Steven. What I read is if they catch
in the early stages there is a drug, (begins with an R - you probably know what it is) that is very helpful.

In my readings I found a new treatment called activated C or ACP. Also CoQ10, vitamin C and E were mentioned in another article.

I don't want to sound like I know it all because I know almost nothing.

I'm sending you light and love back and thank you for sharing this with me.
