1. Interesting...
This is normally an overwhelmingly Republican part of the state, but the donations seemed to be running about 45% Democratic, 55% Chimp.

10. What part of Arkansas are you in?
The Northwest has been republican for three decades, and they've had a repub Congressman since 1966. Wal-Mart is in the NW, and it looks like their executives are giving the maximum to bu$h, as are Arvest execs. There were quite a few donations to Wes Clark, and Dean collected quite a bit from the Fayetteville area. Noticeably absent have been large donations to Kerry.

18. I'm in central AR...
And I too noticed the absence of Kerry donations...scary..it was almost all Bush with a little Clark thrown in.

3. This must be an incomplete............
data base. I donated over $500 to the Dean campaign, way back when, and they've only got me down for $100. Or maybe the Dean campaign was not reporting all the contributions?
Either way, it's an interesting study of the people to contribute. All most all of those associated with business, hospital/pharmaceutical and agriculture show donations to Bush. Most academics, legal and retired folks donate to Democratic candidates. I thought the person's occupation was far more interesting than the amount they gave. Look it over, it's very interesting.

4. Excellent Site!
I did an informal survey using the first 2 pages of the site after entering my address and zip code. I live in a rather conservative part of Dallas, TX and here are my results:

george bush* 100 votes $130,275

Democrats 100 votes $95780

Looks like bush* is tied in this area of his home state. :-)

8. MY Boss...
Gave Bushit $2000 and Lieberman $500. (I'm assuming it's because Marcus and Lieberman are Jewish but won't swear to it.)

15. Bad news from my area
Overwhelming support for Bush. Not only do the Bush contributions out-number the Dems, but they are larger in size, too. I saw many donations of $2,000 for Bush and only one or two for a Dem candidate. I'm hoping things will change as Kerry gets his campaign in gear.

16. In our area...
I saw people who donated $2000 under their full name and/or business and then donated another $2000 under the other (name or business).
