Does anyone else remember their own birth?
I do.

I distinctly remember being swabbed down by a male nurse who had a name badge on which I now recognize as the name "Frank".

I also remember all the nurses making jokes about Dwight Eisenhower.

1. I was born on Thanksgiving Day and
...I was a big baby. The nurses joked that my Mom had delivered a big turkey.

3. I kept a diary of my birth
Day One: Bright lights and a lot of shouting. Went to sleep early
Day Two: Still tired from the move
Day Three: These people talk to me like I'm an idiot
Day Four: Hooray for boobies

I cannot remember from whom I've ripped this joke off.

4. All I remember is that I'd just forgotten everything from the past life.
That I'd really been trying to remember except that I was supposed to get some milk at the store.

And then some asshole whacked me on my naked ass...naked? How did that happen? And what was that all over me...ewww!!?? This all pissed me off so much that I cried.

6. No, I actually had other plans and missed the event, because I just wasn't
able to get there on time. It was sort of embarrassing, but of course I apologized profusely, and everyone was very understanding

10. I thought that was impossible.

The brain, so I have read, does not really lay down coherent episodic memories until around 2 or 3, though emotional memories of traumatic events in those early years do get stored in the Amygdala.

I don't remember anything before I was 3.

13. It's still debated. FWIW I remember events from age 14 months (confirmed by my mom).
