Ever catch your cat practicing her "cutes"?
Every now and then I will see our youngest off in the other room. And then I watch her quietly.
And I will see her go through what I can only describe as practicing her little cute faces and moves.
For example - the 'lay on the back, paw makes a begging motion, or then there is the facial expressions, moving the ears up and back.
Or how about paws covering the eyes. It seems she almost has a routine.
She is a small cat about 3/4 size and is simply cute anyway.
She will stop as soon as she realizes that someone is watching, so pics would be impossible.
We have had 8 cats over the years and this is the only cat I have ever seen do anything like this.

2. No this is a cat that has not properly socialized into the group of
other cats, and feels lonely and left out, and has taken up an imaginary friend to play with.

5. My neighbor had, still has, a cat like that. A real loner,
he would go into another room and stay there by himself. He would never have anything to do with the other cats. I would visit him in the other room, and he would enjoy the company for a while, then hiss and bite, to get me to leave, or in anger, knowing that I would leave? I never knew.
But he just had real anger or socialization issues, or something? I don't know.

She lays with her belly up, and her head resting on whatever she lays on, seeing everything upside down. :D
