8. I go hardcore.. baking soda and water... straight up chemistry
HCl (stomach acid) + NaHCO3 (baking soda) = NaCl + H20 + CO2 (salt, water, and a burp)

Green is lime, yellow is lemon, orange is orange and pink, my favorite, is red flavor.

13. Those only work part time for me
I have to mix it up between the Prilosec and the Zantac with a Tums chaser. Can't afford the Nexium, damned insurance company bastards!

14. My medical insurance dumped me and made me an amateur
I was prescribed PPI's for serious stomach problems. I took them for two years after surgery but could not afford to continue purchasing them without help from my insurance. Fortunately after two years of healing I am able to keep everything mostly in check with simple generic antacids. However, I do have a stash left that I use proactively when the occasion arises; long days, the holidays, travel.
