I've been hoodwinked

to the tune of 277 Euros (411.81 US dollars) by my SSSSSSnake in the grass husband for a new X-Box 360.

He's been badgering me about this shit for three months now and I kept telling him we couldn't afford it, didn't need it, we have other priorities etc.

So last night he went to hook up my laptop to the television, which is how we watch our shows from the US and it suddenly didn't work anymore.

He tried and tried to fix it to no avail and said that the X-Box 360 would solve all our problems. We can stream our movies through that.

I shined him on for the evening and said yeah we can talk about it tomorrow. Today he said he had found the X-Box 360 for 200 Euros so I said go ahead and get it since I have shows I want to watch from the US and with my computer broken, that isn't going to happen.

I was out of the house for a few hours and I came home and he had ordered the X-Box 360 but it was 277 euros and he had somehow fixed the computer! Right now he's playing on his Play Station 2, preparing for the arrival of his new toy. MEN!


I'm getting my pen and paper ready for a Christmas list from hell.

I think this is a great time for PAYBACK!

I'm having a lot of fun making up names for him...the Finagler, SSSSnake in the grass, Sneaky McSneakster. He thinks it's pretty funny and I'm not really mad at him. He got me, which is unusual but I am drafting a Christmas "wish" list that will make him work his ass off for all the X-Box 360 fun he's going to have and for the sneaky way he achieved it! Hee hee.
