For my Birthday, hubby gave me a record player with USB to connect and record to CD

I have several records that are not ever going to be available on CD, but now we can record the records to CD and have them forever!!!

I need to do that to some of my cassettes as well

it is a fun little machine and really awesome technology

6. An old Sony Walkman Cassette player and the right cable can do the same thing.

I'm that way to, I love ripping my old vinyl albums and cassettes to mp3 just the way they are -- clicks, warble, distortion and all. Just the way I used to listen to them.

They go for about $120 at Target or Newbury Comics.

I've got a lot of out-of-print vinyl from indie labels that's never going to see the light of day on cd or even in digital form.
