Don't be a good neighbor f***er! (Blue Velvet fans check in)
What is your favorite part of the movie? I have many but my favorite is the scene where Frank does all lipstick crazy on Kyle M's character.

1. I like the part where the ladies
are dancing on the car to the tune of "Honky Tonkin part 2" by Bill Doggett.

4. I think the exact dialogue went
Don't be a good neighbor to her! I'll send you a f*cking
love letter! Do you know what a love letter is? It's a
bullet from a f*cking gun, you f*cker!

I think my favorite part was Dean Stockwell's lip synch.

5. Dean Stockwell's little ditty...
Lynch can capture the essence of a nightmare like no other: the scene when Ben sings this haunting rhapsody (something like "A candy-colored clown they call the Sandman...") to Frank and Co....

It's just a thing of beauty.

11. The DVD comes with a great documentary
Lynch had Frank Booth originally inhaling helium and saying all that evil shit in a heliumated Donald Duck voice. Hopper couldn't stand it, and persuaded Lynch to let him interpret the gas as nitrous oxide.

The extras on the DVD are highly recommended.

As is true with the Eraserhead box, available only from davidlynch.com.
