I've used Mozilla a while now, but since I use Eudora/Gravity/Mirc (mail/newsgroups/chat) I didn't need the whole suite of stuff that came with. So this Firefox sounded perfect. And so far it does indeed Rawk!

I'll be looking thru the extensions, thanks for the link. How cool is this, a browser component system!

and while they definetely were faster, I still my mouse wheel.

If that would work, I would switch from IE.

.. I know it's there somewhere, because I've been using it myself.

http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/#smoothwheel is the direct link - and the extension shall set you free! (add smileys etc. as necessary for added effect)
