I just watched the first 4 seasons of Ghost Hunters
It took a while, but it was way interesting.

Season 5 is pending.

Funny how some of the equipment and terminology used on Ghost Busters was more than a little prescient....

2. Haha... I'd say it's more the other way around.
Those Ghost Hunters idiots stole most of the names from their equipment from Ghostbusters. Those shows suck.

4. Prescient?
Just because they saw the movie and base this nonsense on it does not equal prescient.

That is called marketing.

9. "Tell me about the Twinkie, Egon."
A few what the hell moments, but not much reality. I simply enjoy suspending my disbelief and going with it.

Roto Rooter/spook chasers? NOT to be taken TOO seriously...

6. I like Ghost Lab.
These chunkheads from TX drive around with their "lab," a van with audio and imaging equipment, to apply "science" in finding ghosts. Most of the people on the show seem like they are just along for the ride. This one guy who does most of the talking is a riot. He gets so excited by the vaguest "evidence."

"OMYGAWD OMYGAWD OMYGAWD OH-MY-GAWD!!!!!"

In one episode they tried to find the ghost of John Wilkes Boothe in some run-down theater in Oklahoma. They wanted to give the ghost a lure, so they made a pathetic effort to make the theater owner look like Lincoln. They gave him a plastic "Lincoln" hat that people wear on New Year's Eve and glued a black, felt "beard" on his face. It was a riot.

So that the rest of us don't have to see the moronic commercials.
