know of any bands that have done this?

i know of two: poison the well and dispensing of false halos

if i ever start a band i'd like to have maternal wear and baby clothing.

3. Sensible panties!

Having worn thongs myself (in a moment when I thought the things were erotic) I can understand why women don't like them. Even if they think they have to wear them for "fashion's sake" (like they do those foot-destroying high heels).

A band might get more female fans if their merchandise were nice, comfortable, full-coverage bikini panties. With the logo printed somewhere else than the crotch, so that would remain absorbant and comfortable. Along with a note saying, "You can relax and enjoy our concerts wearing these. We can't promise that you'll relax wearing Poison's thongs instead."

I have nothing against thongs, it's just that if you want to market the band a wee bit with logos or Images,
