the horizontal when the TV started flipping?

Edited to add:

If you are too young to remember TV's flipping, ask your parents or grands.

1. I remember when I had to adjust
We had an old TV set when I was a kid.

2. I still have a Sony Watchman that has controls for that.
The complete image would roll vertically or else it would become skewed horizontally so that the picture was unrecognizable.

I should get a converter for that thing. It's a cool TV. It has a B&W 4x5" screen, AM-FM and a telescoping arial. My father bought it for me in 1991 for my law school dorm. Had awesome reception. My Dad's arial was on the roof on a rotor because his reception sucked so bad. (There was no cable on that street.) From the cellar, this little TV picked up everything with its on-board arial. When I first started dating Sweetie, she would telephone me to ask what I was doing and I said I was "watching a little TV." That became a running joke.
