How am I supposed to get 60 hours of driving experience?

The driving school is just one obstacle that will cost me money. But getting 60 hours of driving experience? That may be a major problem, what if someone who lives in Maryland with parents with another county are simply too busy or unable to provide that experience?

What if he can't find anyone, what he has no friends or is unable to pay someone to provide him supervision?

And how the bloody hell am I supposed to do 60 hours of driving experience? One hour per day?

If I get through these barriers and get a provisional license, I'm not planning to touch a car for those 18 months, if ever. I rather wait it out to convert to a full license.

Got my license in England.Took forever and I'm a better driver for it. You need those 60 hours or more of supervised experience.

Not all that much really to be trusted to be the sole controller of a half ton missile.

It seems insurmountable and unfair now, but the rules are there for very good reasons.

I would select from those that are forty-five to ninety minutes away.

You get your driving time, and anyone that
helps gets a free trip to a cool place.

in my day i think i had about 1 hour of driving experience with another driver, it's just a car, it ain't rocket science, my parents had jobs and i was needed to actually help out with the driving

i think it's really harsh how hard they make it for kids today, and of course it makes it v. difficult for the parents too -- if both your folks work, it's really rough trying to find time just to sit in a car giving driving instructions to a kid for 60 full hours

years ago i taught one man to drive, and it took about ten minutes, and the next day he passed his driving test and had his license

i don't know what else to say, all these driving schools give kickbacks to the judges and the police is all i can figure, they were an optional thing in my day, but now they're a way to extort money from kids at an age where you really don't have any $$$ to spend

cars are easier to handle and safer to drive than ever, but there's just so much hysteria in the world these days...

Driver's ed was not an option in my middle school or high schools I attended. Plus my mom keeps nagging me to get a license.

If you do it right, that should amount to around 60 hours, and you'll be sure to get plenty of supervision the whole way.

I drive a bus

NECESSARY requirements, at the least. Formerly, driving was taught in high schools.

Problem is that they cost $300 per six hours.
