2. You're right, that's the first time I've heard Dave actually make fun of Leno.
"He's got an old truck he works on." He's loving this drama, for once it's someone else getting screwed by NBC.

I hope he's talking to Conan and telling him not to stand for NBC's crap. Like Carson did for Letterman back then.

4. Conan's in a tough spot
NBC is allowing him to keep the Tonight Show, albeit in name only, which their lawyers believe meets the letter (certainly not the spirit) of their contract with Conan. So first, Conan needs to successfully challenge that interpretation.

Then, having done that, where does Conan go? None of his options are particularly attractive:

More his demographic.

Conan has always been a slow starter in the ratings.

NBC needs to let him do his thing. But, they won't, of course.
