Good morning Lounge
:hi:  :loveya:

How are you doing today? Are you looking forward to the weekend as much as I do? Even though the week was busy and I did a lot social stuff after work it seemed to drag on. And it isn't even done yet. I have to work tonight and tomorrow afternoon/evening at my second job. But I can sleep in tomorrow and Sunday and that is all that counts right now.

I had a very nice evening with my friend yesterday. We chatted away. We were only quiet while munching our food :) I was a bad girl and had a burger and fries and some coleslaw.
I am trying to decide what to cook over the weekend. One dish that keeps popping up is Spaghetti Bolognese. Haven't cooked that dish this winter yet, I think I will do that.

5. Good morning MissH!
It's good that you did a lot of socializing during the week, seeing that you have to work tonight and tomorrow. ;)

My work week seemed to go fast, but only because I was off sick for 1-1/2 days. I'm feeling fine now so will go into work today.

Definitely make the Spaghetti Bolognese this weekend. You know it's going to be fabulous!

7. Good morning Callalily
:hi:  :loveya:

Sorry to hear you were sick but glad to hear you are doing better. Relax over the weekend

Oh I know it. :) I am craving Spaghetti Bolognese these days. Making it from the scratch, letting it simmer for hours. Which means I will cook it Sunday.
Still have to decide what to cook Saturday.

13. I'm trying to use up
food items that I have in my freezer and cupboard and do as little grocery shopping as possible. I've got quite an inventory of food and thought it best to use up what I have.

Your mention of Spaghetti Bolognese; I'll most likely make some type of variation because it sounds good and I have most of the ingredients.

Now your dilemma about Saturday's meal? How about a sandwich and a salad?

14. Hmmm there is an idea
I still have some frozen dishes.

I need a full meal Saturday because I work. I rather not eat during the break, saves me money.

15. Good point. When I worked
in retail, I swear that some people spent more than they earned. ;)

Gotta head out for work.

Try not to work too much this weekend, and be sure to schedule in some down time.

Wishing you a good day and a great weekend.

I am looking forward to seeing old friends Saturday, and making new ones. Some of the people attending went to my school before, and after my umm... tenure.

22. No, not this game
:( I was a bit out of practice. I got better as the game went on. I got 2 shots on goal, one was saved by the keeper, one went wide. I had a good game otherwise. :)

I love eating burgers - if they are made good. And the burger last night was yummy.

And I LOVE pasta. I could eat it daily, but all those carbs - no wonder I gained weight ....

How are you doing?

Geld zum Fenster hinauswerfen/rauswerfen (idiom) --- to pour money down the drain, waste money (“throw money out the window”)

Oft wirft die öffentliche Hand das Geld zum Fenster hinaus.
Government often pours money down the drain.
