Good morning Lounge
Edited on Mon Jan-18-10 04:26 AM by MissHoneychurch
How are you today?

I am not in the best mood. Kept waking up during the night. Then my train was late and took ages to arrive. I should have stayed home ...

Saturday at my second job it was mayham. For whatever reason the people came in and bought food and bought and bought. No idea why there were so many customer but I sure as hell earned my money that day.

Yesterday was quiet. I watched TV, played on the Internet and read. And cooked me my Spaghetti Bolognese :9

Picture of the Day (me between the two friends, I went to the show "India" with - and today looking at that picture I feel like the fat duck)

1. good morning Miss HC! Yuck .. it sure
sounds like your day should be spent relaxing in bed getting some sleep. I didn't sleep well either. I don't know why. So much stuff buzzing around in my head I suppose.

You DO NOT look like a fat duck in that photo. You look quite lovely :)

 I hope the day passes quickly for you and then you can get home and get to bed early.

6. Good Morning, Kesha. How have you been?
I hope all is well with you today. I had a rough week last week, but the weekend was good and today starts a new week so I'm feeling alright- well, except for that whole going back to work thing. Maybe I'll hit the lottery soon and won't have to worry about it anymore. :)

4. Good morning MissH!
Sorry to hear about your poor start to the day. Hope things have become more positive by now.

I too am feeling a bit lethargic because of tossing and turning last night. I woke up at 3:30 a.m. and couldn't fall back to sleep. Hope I don't fall asleep at my desk at work. :)

Bolognese? Bet yours turned our marvelous. I made a "variation" of that recipe and I must say it turned out yummy.

:hi: :loveya:

5. Lookin' good there, Miss H. That's a very nice picture.

I had a good weekend. Just took it easy and spent some time with some relatives. Watched a ball game with my sister and niece. Our team lost. :(

My grandma went into the hospital yesterday with some kind of stomach problem, but she appears to be ok and will be coming home in a couple of days. She is a treasure at 85 years old.

It's back to work for me later tonight. I'm not really looking forward to it, but at least the weather has improved here. It doesn't look like I'll be doing any ice trucking this week. :)

I had a rough time on Friday last week. I quit smoking in April of '08 and quit drinking this time last year, but on Friday it was like I'd just quit both the day before. I had a really intense craving for both cigarettes and alcohol. I was able to resist, though- barely. Never start smoking. It's something you'll regret for a lifetime even if you manage to quit. It seems that way to me right now anyway. :dilemma:

On edit: I posted a new little story last week. Don't know if you saw it. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x9209343

7. Good Morning Miss Honeychurch :)
:hi:  :loveya: :pals:

Yay for Spaghetti Bolognese! :D:D:D

I had a busy Saturday. Work, then off to the gathering of old high school peeps. It was fantastic! So many face and names, such a great time.

I hope you cheer up and have a better afternoon.

I love the pic. 3 cuties ;)

8. G'day, MissH!
:hi:

Made it to work, today. MLK Day here is one of the major holidays, so the trains and buses are on their holiday schedules--slow. The weather is warming, finally. The deep freeze is past, now the agricultural damage has to accessed. Looking forward to the soccer game this week.
