Raise your hand if you went to a protest somewhere last Saturday
Me - I was at the NYC with my friends from Delaware. I would have loved to have met up with other DUers in NYC, but we were on a bus leaving at 5pm sharp.

What protest did you attend last Saturday? There were over 500+ across the globe

31. News said we had 800, but organizers counted 1000+
It was great! Jammed to Spoonfed Tribe to start and finish the march, and several interesting speakers. We had one Republican speaker speak against Bush and the war, and of course Nader spoke as well. I was not able to stay for Alex Jones, but I had seen him recently anyway. Locals were pretty tolerant, and a few were even friendly!LOL

5. <raises hand>
Went to an event in Yellow Springs, OH. There were somewhere between 150-200 people there. No anti-demonstration demonstrators in sight. Nice cops, too. One of them smiled and gave us the thumbs-up. I met a lot of amazing people there, and ended up having dinner and beers with a few at the Old Trail Tavern. I love Yellow Springs.

8. Concord, New Hampshire
About a 100 people singing, holding signs and wishing we were in NYC.

We had lots of people honking in support and a few of those yelling sweet nothings from their car windows. "Don't you remember 9/11" was actually repeated a few times by the freeper jerks.

All in all a nice afternoon with good people.

14. NYC, met other DUers for beers afterward. . .
among those present were Stephanie, Beetwasher, Bleachers7, Irate Citizen, and WillPitt.

I left around 9 pm to catch a train. Before I left, I coaxed Will into signing my copy of his book "The Greatest Sedition Is Silence"
His inscription: "Screaming in a pub does you good!!"

IC's misadventures afterwards can be read on the thread below. Tee hee.

25. Hey, don't count us out.
There were a couple hundred of us easily! And believe it or not, I didn't see any freepers. Some of the folks there I actually met on a bus trip to DC back in October, and most of us protested Himself when he came for a visit at CDHS recently.

I'm a transplanted Okie, so HBG feels pretty liberal to me.
