Car audio experts...speaker recommendations?
Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 01:44 PM by Nlighten1
I want a set of speakers that will play well with a Punch 75 amplifier.

My experience is that speakers in the $100 range suck so I am looking for something above that level that can handle this amp.

I almost forgot...6x9

4. I Have their Pro Series

Components in my car and I love them. My brother dropped BA speakers in his Toyota Tacoma and he loves them, too. Not pushing them too hard or anything, but you mentioned you wanted a high-quality speaker - and BA is just that. Their 6X9s rock. Find a dealer who stocks them and take a listen...

On edit: Check this out:

Also: You can find them new for much less than MSRP on Ebay or online, etc.

5. Those look nice...
I am also looking at some Focal Polyglass 6x9s and I will add these to the list.

3. Infinity speakers always rate very high.
When shopping for speakers recently, I thought they were about the clearest I'd heard, but I was shopping a little lower in the price range.
