Help, I have can't stop watching stuff on Netflix.
I just found a old show with James Dean in the classis tv section.

What more can I find.

This is some really early tv.

1. Look for "Who am I This Time"
It is an old American Playhouse teleplay with a very young Susan Sarandon & Christopher Walken, written by Kurt vonnegut.

3. That's the only way my SO watches TV
He's a home theatre Nut, so he has a hard drive hooked up to an industrial projector for a R E A L L Y W I D E Screen. :D

Anyway the thing has internet access and he hooks up to netflix and hulu. He never watches broadcast TV or cable.

Nothing like watching an entire season of a show in an afternoon or an evening.

4. Streaming Netflix is addicting
I finally had to make a deal with myself: one movie/show and then exercise before I can watch another. Gawd, I love watching a whole season all at once.

11. That is how I watched Lost on Hulu.
I think it it better that way.

I love the instant watch, I would pay more for all instant watch.

I have a lot dvd's coming.

The $8.99 per month is a good deal.

I really don't go to the movies anymore, so this is great.

15. I've been watching episodes of the old b&w Gunsmoke.
Season 8 has 38 episodes. They really are good, dealing with the disabled, treatment of Native Americans, some serious episodes, some funny, and some without happy endings.

16. I like Gunsmoke.
I watched I Spy last night.

Never watched it when I was a kid, this show was more for adults.

I was Man from UNCLE fan, still am.

20. There are so very many good tv shows. Old American ones and good ones from Britain.
I've also enjoyed watching several seasons of the Meercats as well as Torchwood. It's great being able to watch one episode after another.

I watch using a Roku box connected to my 50" plasma by hdmi, but I've also run cables to my 2 bedrooms so I can watch it there. I have cable internet and the streaming video is great. I've even rented an online streaming HD video thru Amazon last week and it look tremendous. All of my other tv viewing is over the air hdtv having 12 channels and I don't miss cable or satellite at all.

Netflix with the streaming video is about the best entertainment bucks I have ever spent.

22. Just $8.99 for unlimited streaming and one dvd.
Been thinking about going to the next level to get 2 dvds at a time.

Even that is a good deal.

More and more people are staying home now, so this is great.

I will be getting that blueray netflix dvd player I was looking at.

The movies and shows look great on my new laptops.

24. There are so very many streaming videos that I've never needed 2 at a time.
Using Netflix I can watch one thing on the tvs using the Roku box and something different on my computer at the same time. If I had another Roku box I could watch 3 different things at the same time. Of course I would get a lot of exercise running from one room to another, but more likely it would be 3 different people watching 3 different things.

I have been looking at a lot of different things.

I should have got back to Netflix sooner, when I bought the new laptops.

This is like Christmas with lots presents to open.

12. I'm glad you're liking it texanwitch!
I use both delivery of blu-ray discs and streaming through my TiVo HD and, like you, am hooked. I'm really happy that there are over 1000 HD streaming titles titles that look great on the TiVO and my 32" bedroom TV. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Pan's Labyrinth was in HD streaming.

13. There is a lot of stuff on instant watch, new stuff not just old.
I am going to buy a blueray player with netflix built in now.

I am going big time.

It is nice to be able to go outside with the laptop and watch a movie or show.

Netflix is great, the price is right.

32. Another one on the streaming you might like.
The Ghost and Mrs Muir -- lovely romantic four hankie love story, but not sloppy sentimental.

Yes, it's a remarkable selection, well worth the dues.

17. I use Netflix to get Blu Ray dvds to watch, but especially to decide which ones to buy.
I have one dvd out at a time, but they are sent from my city so if I get it back to the PO before mail collection for the day ends I will get another in 2 days or 3 over a weekend, so I can get 3 a week.

For the first time this week they didn't have the dvd at the top of my list because it was not available from my city so they sent the next one. It arrived yesterday but my next scheduled one came today (I took my last one back on Saturday) and so I had 2 dvds today. Unfortunately, for the first time, the dvd I got today was cracked. Oh well.

23. It just got so bad for awhile.
I would get 3 dvds at a time and at least one would be damaged everytime.

It wasn't worth the money.

25. I wonder how they work it in different cities.
My city is only 50,000 but they have a dvd center here. I returned a dvd today to my PO and tomorrow morning I will get an email at 6:30 letting me know they received it, then later on Wednesday I will bet a notice that my next dvd will arrive on Thursday. If I get that back on Thursday I will get another on Saturday.

29. I like watching indy type films.
There is one called Spring Forward, I think that is what it is called.

It is about two men, one younger the other older.

They work for Parks and Rec, the movie takes place over time.

It is mostly the two men, and talking.

It is really good.

About 2 weeks ago I was home for 5 days with a nasty cold. I sat on the sofa and watched two seasons of Farscape, some Dr. Who and Torchwood. I love Netflix.
