So what's the root cause of the duck-face phenom?
People have been posing for pictures since the invention of photography, but only in recent years have so many people started making duck faces for the camera.

2. It makes as much sense as wearing your pants below your butt-crack.
In fact, I think the two phenomena originated in the same place and time. I have no proof, of course, but it's what I like to believe.

3. I think it's those rappers.
They've been doing the tough guy look on album covers for a long time. But now that hip hop has hit the mainstream, people have tried to phonily emulate it and screwed it up, turning it into the duck face.

he unpurposely gives everybody a duck face. He's already been fired twice. The dimwit always unknowingly makes a duck face when he tells the story.
