I need a hat that's formal enough, but also will keep my ears warm. What do I get?

The dressy hats I look at - porkpie, and so on - don't have anything for the ears, and the real reason that I want to wear a hat is because my ears get cold.

Any thoughts? A hat that would go well with a suit.

Or am I just screwed - it's either wear something that keeps the ears warm, or wear something that looks nice but has all the warmth of a Republican wife/?

2. You could go with "The Cheney".
Formal enough for a memorial service, yet toasty.

It's Satan-approved™!

9. Russian Bearskin

You'll have to take it off every few minutes even in below freezing weather to keep from getting too warm.

10. If you are female you could get a fake fur headband. That goes right over your ears
and helps to keep you warm.

12. Get those 180 earmuffs/
The ones that wrap around from behind. They work, they are hardly noticeable. Except to you with the warm ears. :-)

16. I prefer a nice broadbrimmed hat, matching gloves.
The gloves are for the handsome hunk who stands behind me with his hands lovingly protecting my delicate ears.

Yeah, in my dreams. sigh..........

26. How about earmuffs?
They have them that go behind the head now so they're hardly even noticeable. (They also have them with built-in speakers so you can dig your sounds on MP3 without anyone even knowing! ;)

I think they'd look ok with a suit - that's what all the gents were wearing at the funeral home last weekend. (The guys who have to stand out in the cold directing everybody else to their nice warm cars...)
