Is anyone else glad that usual Valentine's commercials are slowly being replaced by lube commercials
I am. Nothing is more patronizing and cynical than the normal Valentine's commercials that push people to buy crap like jewelry and flowers to show their love. It's about time they've been reduced to their most base level.

5. last night told hubby.... if you loved me.... diamond commercial on tv.
i dont like spending money and not into jelwery, so was a joke. but yes, valentine is about the worst in pushing to buy to say you love. i hate valentines day

besides, hubby brings me chocolate thru out year. i dont need v day

6. A few years ago I made a 1 am run to walmart for medicine for my ex sweetie
he told me it was the most thoughtful loving vday gift ever.

7. ya. i think that is one of the reasons i have issue. all thru the year
we do the stuff. one day assigned to do.... then seems fabricated. not sync or natural or .... real.
