Well, my cat has managed to rupture his ACL
Or at least, he's damaged it - his vet is not sure if it's a full-on rupture or possibly just a stretched one. We're starting out with rest and anti-inflammatories in the hope that it resolves on its own.

Frankly, I'd like to know how something as lazy as a cat can get a sports injury. :eyes:

Oh, and he's hopelessly confused about the litter box. He was born just outside and has been indoor/outdoor since birth. We live quite a way off the beaten path so he's always done his thing outdoors. He's not quite getting this whole box thing.

1. Awww
Hahaha what a cute cat! He looks fairly content to play in his 'sandbox' :) Hope he feels better soon!

2. Hope he gets better soon
My cat sympathizes. He injured his elbow in a fight a couple of months ago. The vet wanted me to keep him in and give him antibiotic tablets twice a day - I laughed at her.

My cat is semi-feral. If I don't feed him or let him outside fast enough, he will attack me. He leaves scars. He will never use a litter box or go inside. He once got locked in the car overnight and tore up the seats and ceiling liner, but did not leave any mess.

Amazingly enough, the vet had a new antibiotic injection that lasts for ten days - expensive, but worth it for an insane cat like mine.

After a couple of weeks of limping and a few weeks of moving slowly he finally healed and is now back 100%, beating up the local foxes and chasing birds - and giving me more scars.

3. Poor kitty!
One of my cats hurt a rear leg last month. I put a heating pad on the floor, set it on the lowest setting, and put a towel over it. My cat seemed to really appreciate a warm place to lay, providing a little comfort and help ease some pain. All worked out well and I hope your kitty heals soon! :)
