Scarily accurate career counseling quiz, using nothing but color preferences
http://www.careerpath.com/career-tests/colorcareercounselor.aspx

Here's what I got:

Best Occupational Category

You're a CREATOR

Keywords

Nonconforming, Impulsive, Expressive, Romantic, Intuitive,
Sensitive, and Emotional

These original types place a high value on aesthetic
qualities and have a great need for self-expression. They
enjoy working independently, being creative, using their
imagination, and constantly learning something new. Fields of
interest are art, drama, music, and writing or places where
they can express, assemble, or implement creative ideas.

CREATOR OCCUPATIONS

Suggested careers are Advertising Executive, Architect, Web
Designer, Creative Director, Public Relations, Fine or
Commercial Artist, Interior Decorator, Lawyer, Librarian,
Musician, Reporter, Art Teacher, Broadcaster, Technical
Writer, English Teacher, Architect, Photographer, Medical
Illustrator, Corporate Trainer, Author, Editor, Landscape
Architect, Exhibit Builder, and Package Designer.

CREATOR WORKPLACES

Consider workplaces where you can create and improve beauty
and aesthetic qualities. Unstructured, flexible organizations
that allow self-expression work best with your free-spirited nature.

Suggested Creator workplaces are advertising, public
relations, and interior decorating firms; artistic studios,
theaters and concert halls; institutions that teach crafts,
universities, music, and dance schools. Other workplaces to
consider are art institutes, museums, libraries, and galleries.

2nd Best Occupational Category

You're a SOCIAL MANAGER

Keywords:

Tactful, Cooperative, Generous, Understanding, Insightful,
Friendly, and Cheerful

This very social type enjoys working in groups, sharing
responsibilities, and being the center of attention. Fields
of interest are instructing, helping, nurturing, care giving
and instructing-especially young people. They discuss and
consider feelings in order to solve problems, lead, direct,
persuade, guide, organize and enlighten others.

2. Creator and Social Manager for me, too! Woot!
We are really the best kind of people. We don't have as many blind spots and hangups as those other people.

I'm also an ENTP, and I think that's the best kind of people as well. Again, far fewer hangups and blind spots.

I hate these tests not because people have fun taking them on teh internets, but because these tests are used by actual employers to screen out applicants and to deny advancement, as if the tests have any objective validity.

That way madness lies.

I'm an academic scientist, I like mathematics, etc. I'm also artistic and creative. The report I got was pretty spot on. Oh, that's ironic-- it lists "medical illustrator" as a possible career path. I was a freelance illustrator and graphic designer in an earlier lifetime, and went back to college 25 years ago because I wanted to seek some medical and scientific illustration clients, but needed a better biology background in order to have street cred. I ended up liking the science better than the art work, so I ended up here instead. Pretty interesting!

Suggested workplaces? I'm on the faculty at a university!

Keywords

Holding dicks, confused, emotionally dead, rectally flexible, like crack.

These much maligned types place a high value on being fucked, or fucking others.
They enjoy working in an environment that makes other people sick
to their stomach, where they use talents that can only be called unholy.
Fields of interest are dicks, think tanks, the stock market, crack, cocaine, and
place where they can do nothing of any value and still be paid.

WHORE OCCUPATIONS

Suggested careers are Crack Whore, Assistant Crack Whore, Patent Lawyer, Right wing Think Tank,
Palin Family Member, CEO, President, Prime Minister, Senator, PAC member, Wall Street Banker, Gigalo, Jay Leno

WHORE WORKPLACES

Consider workplaces where you can sell your soul for cold hard cash, power
or drugs. It can be upscale, or a recently burnt down crack house...it doesn't matter,
as long as it's devoid of hope or morality.

Suggested Whore workplaces are the oval office, Wall Street, crack houses,
whore house, Liberty University, or other places that teach trades that will either
cause the downfall of humankind, or ruin your soul and self esteem.

mix the music for the dances I choreograph for them, so I guess the color thing was spot on. (I am also supposed to be a writer, but I keep avoiding all the stories in my hard drive.)
