Snow: "God put it here, God will take it away" James M. Curley, Mayor of Boston
I often think of that quip and realize that it is generally true unless you have lost power or have a medical emergency. Then snow can be much more dangerous than beautiful. Here in SW NH we have only an inch or so on the ground now. No deadly ice storms like last winter. I count my blessings and think of what my Public Works Commissioner tells me that if we can get past March 15th we are home free. But I know the deadliness of the beautiful white stuff and I wish all here who are facing yet another one of these storms to be safe, be smart, don't shovel it if you're a certain age... it will go away and spring will come. But stay smart, off the road, warm, if you can, and safe!
