What the hell is going on with my e-mail?

With my e-mail, ads get shunted to the junk folder.

Most of the time I get 2-3 a week.
But the past 3 days I've been getting at least 10 a day!

Anyone else getting bombed like this?

I dont even check it anymore.

The first one is hell to deal with, I have to clean it out every 2 days.

I would like to get rid of the email account but it is the oldest one.

The other two are OK so far.

They don't get a lot of junk yet.

Going back to 2002. I created most of my email with alpha-numeric names, ie..dam112an88@yahoodotcom (it is VERY important to use number(s) in the middle of an email name!!) This reduces the likelihood of dictionary terms spidering/bots to find good email addys. I also use each of my email addys for specific purposes, for example, one is strictly for important banking, utilities, government use and I have never received as much as one spam email on it so far. others are for selling/buying on eBay, Amazon, software registration, chat, ect...I have also used Outlook and Thunderbird for spam filtering. I believe that Yahoo still has free spam keyword filtering up to a certain number like 10?

Duane, I think I'll scream. Every time I stick the address in block sender, along comes whoever it is after Duane again. It is some banking thing. I have right clicked on Properties to take a look. Never opened any of them. Each time the address of the sender is different.

Things were pretty good for a while, mostly drugs from Canada stuff but lately it is infuriating.

My "family" e-mail been good. Everyone is advised not to send me any garbage and I never give the address to anyone. There is one straggler who pops up now and then. It is junk and I have put him in Block Sender buy it just pops back with a different address.
