3. I actually wish we had alternative coverage in NY.
NBC's coverage is very, shall we say, commercial.

Isn't the CBC streaming it?

CTV won the rights this year instead of CBC and yes, they have live streaming.

http://www.ctvolympics.ca

but it's not for U.S. residents.

11. Yeah, the only live streaming is on NBC Universal's cable channels
MSNBC, CNBC and USA.

Therefore, to view the live streams on the website you must prove that you're a cable subscriber.

8. NBC and its affiliates over the air
Edited on Mon Feb-22-10 10:26 PM by DoBotherMe
There's really nowhere in the US to stream other than the NBC site and even there you have to be a subscriber to pay-TV to stream. I've used p2p to get some of the events online, even Eurosports is blocked. There's a thread in the Sports forum re olympics coverage for more info. Dana ; )

12. There's no streaming in the US
Other than NBC but you have to be a pay TV subscriber to view the stream. There is coverage over the air from NBC,MSNBC, USA. It's like censorship here in the US and it's frustrating!
