Sigh. Who would think it's OK to enter someone's back yard and put salt down?

We have 3 dogs that go out into the back yard to play and...well, do doggy stuff.

This afternoon they woke me up to go out and I went to the door and found the ground covered with salt pellets.

Now why would someone think it was OK to come in through the gate and put salt down on our sidewalk? Especially considering some of that stuff is toxic to dogs.

1. Yikes.
Maybe they thought they were doing you a favor. I would put up a sign asking the "nice person" not to do it again and explain why.

2. Someone who doesn't know it is
toxic to dogs, and thought that they were doing you a favor?

3. If it was on the sidewalk and steps... maybe
But not in the backyard on the grass.
