Is alpine skiing an Olympic "sport"?

it seems to rely a great deal on gravity. Same for ski jumping, luge and bobsleds, etc.

But taking your question at face value

Sports: Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom, Slalom, Alpine Combined, Skicross

Not sports: Moguls and Aerials

Could be a sport: Ski Jumping (loses sports cred by awarding 'style' points.)
