Does South Park have different voice-actors and music soundtrack?
Edited on Tue Feb-23-10 11:00 PM by UTUSN
I have never been a regular viewer, have probably only seen about a dozen full episodes over all the years.

Tonight, after a long time, it has been running in the background. One episode was an old re-run. The 2nd one was newer and sounded really different, both the voices and the music, and not different for the better.

I've always had a fly-in-the-soup irritation about bad music soundtracks. The good ones are in lots of old movies, where there are interplays of silence and really necessary sound emphasis to the action. The bad ones are over orchestrated and call attention to themselves, just intrusive.

Anyway, sounds like a drop-off in South Park?

And it just went into the moral-of-the-story sermon/lecture, cue music. Really jumped the shark.
