As I arrived home from the gym earlier today, a lady with a wagon full of boxes was blocking my way to the driveway. A little girl of no more than six was on her way up the drive with her own box. The Mom spotted me, pulled the wagon aside and waved her daughter out of the way so that I could pull in. I got out and accepted the box from the insanely cute little girl. The Mom told me that she was the cookie leader in her troop. My wife had ordered from her in January and we were just wondering how close to the promised 'something in February' delivery they were going to be.
Mmm... Girl Scout Cookies.
So much for the time I spent at the gym.
On edit: My wife, who used to be a Girl Scout Leader, told me that the little girl was a 'Daisy' and this was the first year that they were allowed to sell cookies.
