6. Good morning MissH!
Sorry to hear about your grandmother.

BEAUTIFUL picture!

And you know that we missed you here last week.

Busy week, but busy is good. My life is so spontaneous, one day I'll have nothing planned and then boom, the week fills up.

10. Oh gosh! There should be
no reason to miss book club. Our members are so great, we always have a fantastic time. And it's really interesting peoples take on the book. Everyone comes from such different backgrounds, it does make for lively discussions.

Which reminds me. I'd better get going finishing my book. ;)

11. Well
the last time I went (which was also the first time) I had a blast. It was so interesting and so much fun. Interesting also because everyone came from another culture.

This time we are talking about "Balzac and the little chinese seamstress" by by Dai Sijie.

8. MHC! No posts, I thought you might be in jail!
Does this mean your volunteer colleague is still alive and well? And bossing everyone around?

Condolences on the death of your grandmother. But at least she lived long enough to watch a nice grand-daughter grow up.

19. That wouldn't help
Volunteer lady has good standings with the boss.

After over half an hour "That is not possible"(me) "I don't understand that"(her) we found a solution. Of course that means a lot more work for me. But that isn't something that bothers her. As long as she has her will.

21. Today is going okay for now,
dropped son off at school, and hopefully the hot water heater guy will be here soon, we have been without hot water since Thursday :sigh:

Spent a ton of money on fixes last week, I just hope the madness is over with.

Other than that, things are going well.

22. Good morning Miss H
Sorry to hear about your grandma. I have one remaining grandparent and she is 86. I hope I have her longevity genes.

Spring is almost here and I'm happy about that. I'm going to help a friend get his driver's license back this morning and for that we have to drive to Cincinnati, Ohio which is about 65 kilometers down the road. It's a big city and I feel like a hayseed when I go down there. :)

26. Nope, we will be heading down that way in my personal vehicle
If we can manage to find our country bumpkin asses around. :) It's a big day for my buddy. He's been without his driver's license for several years, and around where we live being able to drive is a big part of our freedom.

28. Oh I know about the freedom and car thing
it is that way in most areas of the U.S. except the big cities with good public transportation. :)

That is what I like about Frankfurt so much. It is a big city, but not too big (about 700.000 inhabitants). And the public transportation here is pretty good.
