She and her husband had moved to NYC from LA last year. There were hitting the bottom financially and no longer had cobra (couldn't afford it anymore). She got hired back at an old law firm she worked at 10 years ago.
They waved the 3 month period before benefits kick in and they hired her on under some sort of other requirement that appears as if she were under a leave of absence!
The she said she is more than happy with the pay as well!
I'm so incredibly relieved for she and her husband.
It was getting to the point, were I was offering her our extra bedroom in case they had to brace for impact.
