What do you think happened after the end of "They Live"?

I would probably say that nothing much changed. A bunch of spin and PR took place and there wasn't any rebellion against the aliens.

Getting the glasses from a church starts out correct, but it then goes into class warfare, which is a false paradymn, many of the wealthy are really good people, your money does not define your worth.

It is an error to just make it class warfare. the versus I have read show not about someone having much, but how they also choose to act with what they have.

For instance in my last post it mentioned a rich man, but it was not his riches that got him in trouble it was his attitude to his neighbor. And many of middle, and lower income have issues also, none of us are perfect.

So I see it as trying to help everyone see how they can learn from each other, and better their place, by helping their neighbor, in the world they want to make. But that is just my opinion and I fail at it often myself.

... at their being deceived and used by the powered elite. The free market is supposed to be based on semi-informed consent. If the informed consent is taken away through trickery and subliminal messages they have every right to be angry and rebel against he aliens and collaborators.

That being said though, my guess is that after the aliens were revealed there was initial disgust and resentment, then things went back to normal. Despite the fact that they were being used, the human just liked being comfortable too much.

I don't think spin would have worked because the aliens on the street were uncovered. Lots of in-fighting, lots of army/police turning on their officers. (which were probably aliens)

I think they would have 1. beat a hasty retreat, 2. opted for full-scale military conquest.
