Yesterday, I bashed Rush (the Canadian prog rock band).

The fact is, I don't really have anything against Rush personally. I only disparaged them after a so-called "fan" (**cough cough**TZ**cough cough**) had the audacity to bash my Pumpkins (heh-heh) just two days short of St. Corgan's Day, which is an unacceptable sin in my book.

So, to all you honest and authentic Rush fans out there who may have been hurt by my criticism of Rush, I do apologize and please don't take it personally.

As an olive branch, I submit to you this video of a Neal Peart drum solo taken from a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater back in August 2007. It's pretty incredible--the dude's got some mad chops. Check it out:
